Chris McDaniel For U.S. Senate From Mississippi

Posted on March 13, 2014

Chris McDaniel has a proven record of fighting for conservative principles in the Mississippi State Senate. He has been a champion of limited government, free enterprise, civic participation, reduced tax rates, a strong national defense, and a return to the original checks and balances of the Constitution. He’s a proven fighter for the rights of We the People. For example, he’s taken on special interests in defense of our private property rights against the abuse of eminent domain, and he’s introduced legislation to protect our 2nd Amendment rights against federal government overreach.

The Mississippi Senate race is a clear fight for the future of the Republican Party against the entrenched interests of the permanent political class in D.C. We desperately need new conservative leaders in the U.S. Senate who will serve with passion, intelligence, and integrity. Chris McDaniel is just such a leader. He is in this race not for career, but for conservative change.

Ben Sasse For U.S. Senate From Nebraska

Posted on March 13, 2014

Ben Sasse is the clear conservative choice in the Nebraska Senate race. National Review calls him “Nebraska’s Obamacare Nemesis.”

Ben is a proven problem solver. A few years ago, Ben took over as president of Midland University in his hometown. The school was on the verge of bankruptcy, but under Ben’s steady leadership and commitment to make tough decisions and reform old policies, Midland is on the path to recovery and has nearly tripled enrollment. Today, it’s the fastest growing school in the Midwest. We need those kinds of results in D.C.

Ben knows how dysfunctional D.C. is. He’s witnessed firsthand the corrosive effect bad big government policies can have, and he knows that Obamacare is as bad as it gets. As Ben told me, “I have said from the very beginning of this campaign that the problem in D.C. is that we have a government of Democrats with big-government bad ideas and Republicans regularly with no ideas. That is not good enough. We have got to be a party that sells the conservative vision of the future. I have also said that the GOP establishment in this country does not understand that the house is on fire and we have to save this country – not tomorrow, or next year, or at some debt-crisis moment in five years, but now.”

Ben is a leader we need in D.C. now. He won’t forget who sent him there because his life is firmly grounded in his small town Nebraska roots. His family goes to a church where his great-great grandpa carved the altarpiece that is still there today. Ben has his cornhusker common sense and his lovely wife Melissa and their three kids to remind him of what’s important. Melissa is a fellow “hockey mom” to both of Ben’s daughters who play hockey as the only girls on the boy teams. They’ll be able to remind their papa to “Fight like a girl!” in defense of We the People.

T.W. Shannon For U.S. Senate From Oklahoma

Posted on March 12, 2014

Tom Coburn leaves large conservative shoes to fill as he retires from the U.S. Senate. At 6’5 feet tall, T.W. Shannon is just the leader to fill them. T.W. is the underdog in his race, but that’s not a position he’s unfamiliar with. He’s had to beat the odds all of his life. He became the first Republican to ever win his district’s seat in the Oklahoma state legislature even though the naysayers said it couldn't be done. When he sought to be Speaker of the House, the naysayers said he was too young and too conservative to win. But his colleagues chose him anyway, and he became the youngest Speaker in Oklahoma history!

T.W.’s opponent has the backing of Beltway insiders, but T.W. has the passion and experience We the People need in Washington. As the former Speaker he can stand proud on his record of fighting for conservative legislation that directly benefited the lives of Oklahomans by lowering taxes, cutting government waste, and breaking the cycle of poverty by encouraging entrepreneurial self-reliance as the proven path to prosperity. T.W. understands that we need real leaders with vision and a steel spine to get things done. As he told me: “We are suffering from a lack of conservative vision. I believe we desperately need leaders with deep convictions who will fight—and win—the battles for conservative policies.”

We can also rest assured that T.W. will bring to D.C. the integrity and moral compass he acquired growing up attending Bethlehem Baptist Church and teaching Sunday School. T.W. Shannon is exactly the kind of dynamic young conservative leader we need in Washington!

Steve Lonegan: Conservative for US Senate (NJ)

Posted on October 03, 2013

On October 16, New Jersey has the choice of two mayors to send to the U.S. Senate. Only one of these mayors has embraced and governed by the values of New Jersey’s state motto – “Liberty and Prosperity.” During one mayor’s tenure his town’s unemployment nearly doubled, taxes skyrocketed, and violent crime increased; but in fairness, Newark Mayor Cory Booker may not have noticed these facts between his constant tweeting and trips to Hollywood. Contrast this with Mayor Steve Lonegan. As mayor, Steve cut wasteful spending, eliminated wasteful services, stabilized taxes, and reduced debt. Perhaps it was Steve’s prior experience as a successful small business owner and entrepreneur that encouraged him to lead with conservative principles. He understands that government is too often the problem, not the solution. Steve asked for my support, and today I officially endorse his candidacy. I encourage voters in New Jersey to give Steve a look and not believe those in the media who tell us conservatives can’t win in certain areas! Steve’s own electoral history proves that theory untrue. New Jersey deserves better! Steve Lonegan will fight to preserve our Liberty against government regulations like Obamacare that seek to limit our Prosperity. Let’s come together, turn out, work hard, and elect conservative Steve Lonegan to the U.S. Senate on October 16!

Don't Fund Obamacare

Posted on August 27, 2013

Forced enrollment in Obama's "Unaffordable Care Act" is weeks away. This beast must be stopped -- by not funding it. Today, Todd and I joined with many of our fellow citizens to urge those in the U.S. Senate to not fund Obamacare.

We The People must continue to make our voices heard and hold those elected to serve this great nation accountable. Those in the Senate and those seeking to serve there must stand strong against this devastating program before it reveals its true face now recognized by both sides of the aisle as the bureaucratic and economic beast that will deny our families, our businesses, and our sick the ability to access health care.

The time for rhetoric and ceremonial votes in Congress is over. The time to take serious action to stop Obamacare is now. Join us in urging Senators -- Don't Fund Obamacare! Just remember -- if you fund it, you own it!

Inspiring

Posted on August 22, 2013

Looks like the Duck Dynasty dudes aren't the only ones speaking truth to power lately. Hollywood star Ashton Kutcher gave a heartfelt speech about hard work at this week's "Teen Choice Awards". It's worth the time to click on Bristol's blog where she links the speech. In this, Ashton says:

Good to see his Iowa roots shining through all that Hollywood glitter! On our trips to Iowa our family has always admired the strong work ethic and dedication to freedom that those who live there in the heartland hold dear. As they say -- you can take the boy out of Iowa, but you can't take Iowa out of the boy.

In a reflection of the sad state of affairs in Washington, one mainstream media newspaper even had to acknowledge, "Who knows, maybe Ashton Kutcher was able to do something America’s political leadership can’t do, which is to talk honestly to America’s youth about the dignity of work." Wake up, Washington, and kudos to Ashton for speaking out for America's youth.

Duck Dynasty Wisdom

Posted on August 22, 2013

Like those 3:00 am wake up calls to join my dad duck hunting in the canoe before the school day began, it's time our politicians wake up and hear some Duck calls from far outside the beltway. The self-made, hugely successful businessmen (and women) of Duck Dynasty made history this week with the "most watched non-fiction series" in TV history. What's most interesting and inspiring is to see the number of young people tuning in to watch this all-American, hard working family -- and learn the key to their success (as well as tips on how best to bag the ducks!).

Todd and I had a great time meeting Duck Commander Willie Robertson at this year's NRA convention. And just the other day, Phil Robertson offered some of their refreshing trademark plainspoken talk that so many crave from our leaders in Washington. Speaking on the issue of the sanctity of life, Phil reminds us that all life is God-given, no matter how small or how special. Watch Phil's entire remarks on the abortion culture here.

To our GOP leaders in Washington, especially -- this is what Americans desire and deserve; we're not rooting for your social truces. As Phil so rightly asks, "What in the world has happened to us?"

Kudos to these Duck dudes for speaking their minds, and for their boldness in living the American dream of LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness -- reminding us all that it's only with freedom that anything is possible.

Moving forward...

Posted on August 06, 2013

Before they left for vacation last week, Congress made sure their taxpayer-funded health care plans won't be affected by Obamacare. You see, despite forcing the rest of us into Obamacare, they made sure they won't have to suffer under it like We the People. Their health care premiums are safe, but ours will soon be rising through the roof.

This shameless power play by our ruling class in D.C. is precisely why our work isn't done. The status quo has got to go. We've got to take them on election cycle after election cycle until we break up their corruption and crony capitalism and restore our great nation.

But let's stop for a moment to appreciate how far we have already come.

I want to thank all of you who have donated your time, hard-earned money, and efforts to support SarahPAC. We have accomplished an incredible amount together over the last two election cycles, and we somehow did it without the help of the "wise" sages from Washington's permanent political class. In fact, we bucked them every step of the way and achieved incredible tangible results.

Your support has given us a platform to articulate a commonsense conservative message to counter those who only go along to get along with an invasive and corrupt big government. And most important, your donations have allowed us to highlight, support, and elect great conservatives who are leading the charge daily to save our country.

Together, we've achieved many victories, and I look forward to even more in next year's elections, as we will continue to hold both parties accountable.

Here's a reminder of what we accomplished together in 2010 and what we will do together in 2014.

Thank you again for your continued support, and don't let the critics or the media get you down when they try to intimidate you. They wouldn't be making such a fuss about SarahPAC supporters if they weren't aware of how much you have accomplished and how important your support is to changing D.C.

Just remember – if we weren't making great strides in breaking up their mighty establishment, they wouldn’t waste time attacking us.

With an Alaskan heart,

Sarah Palin
